Friend was replacing the thermostat for me while I was out of town, but had to wait a week for a new thermostat housing. He forgot how the thermostat went into the housing/engine. It is a 93 Ford Ranger 2.3L 4cyl How does it go into the housing/engine? If there's a little hole in the middle disc part, make sure it's facing upwards.
