Its either ON or OFF, and it has a TOGGLE switch. Sometimes a breaker can %26quot;Trip%26quot; (meaning that something has occured to cause the breaker to turn itself off. Power surges, and too much current can cause this). You can identify these breakers by; opening the breaker panel box, and looking for the ones that have RED showing in a small window on the breaker itself. Each breaker has one. If you see RED. The breaker has Tripped. All you need to do is turn it off and back on. If the RED goes away, everythings good with that breaker. However, if the RED remains, the system that breaker controls has a short and the system must be checked by a professional.
