How do i replace a thermostat on a hoover fridge freezer ?

I have a hoover frost free fridge freezer, however, at the moment its not frost free.and all the food in the fridge compartment is freezing over and the back panel has a layer of ice on it. I have come to the conclusion that it is the thermostat and have ordered the correct replacement thermostat. The problem is I cannot find where the thermostat is located. Can anyone give me informed guidance as to where on/in the fridge it is. ?? Many thanksHow do i replace a thermostat on a hoover fridge freezer ?The thermostat will probably be inside the fridge, boxed in where the control knob %26amp; light are. There are usually only 2 or 3 small screws holding the cover in place. Remember to unplug the fridge first!

Be very careful or , better yet, get an electricianHow do i replace a thermostat on a hoover fridge freezer ?This is quite normal, as there needs to be a cold area in order for your fridge to get down to a temperature of 5掳C The rear wall of your fridge should have a panel of frost as per the picture. The frost should melt from time to time as part of its normal working mode. As long as the frost does not build up to become very thick a frost line is acceptable.

Important

In the interest of consumer safety, any adjustments, alterations or replacement parts should only be made or fitted by a suitably qualified and competent person with the machine disconnected from the mains supply.
