How to replace a thermostat in a 2004 v6 Mustang?

I was wondering if someone could tell me how to replace the thermostat in a 2004 Mustang, and what tools I will need for the job.How to replace a thermostat in a 2004 v6 Mustang?some v6 fords put the thermostat on the bottom hose..check a repair manual for your car..it is tougher than the first answer indicates...it's not 60's carHow to replace a thermostat in a 2004 v6 Mustang?Normally you follow the BIG hose coming out of the top of the radiator. Where it connects to the engine there should be two bolts holding a cover on where the thermostat is located. just pull it out ( it is basically a temp controlled spring) and put the new one in. It is literally a 10 minute job good luck.How to replace a thermostat in a 2004 v6 Mustang?the thermostat should be located right up front on top of the engine at the end of the upper radiator hose. you will need a ratchet socket scraper(to clean it off) make sure you buy a new gasket and some coolant to top it off when done.
